All our books are new, unused and unread. 

Occasionally, books are delivered to us in a condition that is below our high standards. When this happens, we identify imperfections as either ‘Very Good’ (our book descriptions refer to this as ‘slightly off-mint’) or Acceptable (our books descriptions refer to this as ‘off-mint’). You can see the condition of a book in the condition section of the product information on each book online, or at the end of our descriptions. 
 
If we consider the condition of a book to be too far below our standards, it will enter our clearance section at a significantly reduced price.

Condition guidelines

New
Item is brand new, unused and unread. The dust jacket and original protective wrapping, if applicable, are intact. Any additional materials, such as fold-out maps or audio CDs, are unblemished and in full working order.

Very Good (Slightly off-mint)
Item is brand new, unused and unread. The item may have any of the following: a felt-tip mark on the upper- or lower-trimmed edge; minor cosmetic defects such as marks or bends on the cover, spine or pages; pages starting to show signs of sun damage.

Acceptable (Off-mint)
Item is brand new, unused and unread. The item may have any of the following: no jacket; spine showing signs of wear; more noticeable cosmetic defects such as marks, bends, cuts or crushes on the cover, spine or pages; signs of sun damage.
